Fructooligosaccharides: These are soluble fibres found in different plants. They are obtained primarily by enzyme hydrolysis from inulin, contained in turn in chicory root. They are not digested and reach the intestine unaltered, where they help to maintain intestinal bacterial flora balance.
Acacia fibre: This is a water-soluble, flavourless fibre. It is not digested and reaches the intestine unaltered.
Fennel: Distinction is made between wild fennel, which grows naturally, and sweet fennel, which is cultivated primarily for its fruits. It is used to regulate intestinal motility and helps to eliminate gastrointestinal gas.
