Gymnema: The substance contained in the leaves (gymnemic acid) has a structure similar to that of glucose. It is used in weight control programs as it helps to control a sense of hunger and regulates carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
Rhodiola: Its origins are oriental. It has a stem up to 35 centimetres long, thick and fleshy leaves and yellow inflorescences. It is an adaptogen tonic; it stimulates the body to react positively to stressful situations and promotes normal mood.
Griffonia is an evergreen climbing shrub whose stem can reach three meters in height. The seeds contain 5-hydroxytryptophan acid, a precursor of serotonin. The extract obtained from the seeds promotes physiological relaxation and normal mood.
