Eyes play a key role<\/strong> in our life. We use them to observe the world around us, capture its colours, perceive emotions and transmit our own.<\/p>\n

All our day-to-day activities<\/strong> involve our eyes (and sight).Therefore, guaranteeing their health to our consumers means improving their well-being.<\/p>\n

We often use the terms eyes and sight indifferently, but it is important to distinguish between these two words to understand how to approach the various problems.<\/p>\n

Eye or sight: what is the difference?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

When we use the term eye<\/strong> we refer to the vision organ<\/strong>; the critical aspect is that it remains in direct contact with the external environment<\/strong> and is consequently exposed to weather conditions.\u00a0 Obviously our organism has developed its own protection measure<\/strong>: the tear film.<\/p>\n

Distinguishing eye disorders from visual disorders<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

It is obvious at this point that eye disorders are completely different from those that impact sight.<\/p>\n

Eye disorders<\/strong>: dry or red eyes, burning or itching sensations, the feeling that something is in one’s eye. In these cases we can find an alteration in the composition of the tear film<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the case of eye disorders<\/strong> a superficial intervention on the organ is required, to support the tear film<\/strong> in its attempt to provide protection and reinstate comfort to the eye<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the case of sight disorders<\/strong>, an intervention on a physiological process is required which, like all processes requires nutrients<\/strong> in order to function correctly.
