EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid): It is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that belongs to the Omega-3 class. It is contained in some fish (cod, sardines and salmon) and our body can produce it from α-linolenic acid (ALA), although this synthesis is inefficient. In synergy with DHA, it contributes to normal heart function.
DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid): Together with EPA, it is the main component of fish oil and a constituent of the phospholipids of the cell membranes (especially those of the brain and retina). It promotes the maintenance of normal brain and sight function.
Linseed oil: Its seeds, from which the oil is derived, contain vitamins, minerals and fatty acids including α-linolenic acid (ALA), used by our body to produce omega 3. It promotes the functions of cell membranes and the metabolism of lipids.
Fish Oil tit. 35% in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and tit. 25% in DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid), Food gelatin, Resistance agent: Glycerol; Camelina (Camelina Sativa L. Crantz) seed oil tit. 30% in ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), Beeswax, Colourants: Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide.
2 softgels contain:
Fish oil | 1080 mg |
35% EPA, equal to | 630 mg |
25% DHA, equal to | 450 mg |
Linseed oil | 200 mg |
30% ALA, equal to | 60 mg |
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid): This is a polyunsaturated fatty acid belonging to the Omega 3 class. It is found in certain fish (cod, sardines and salmon) and our body is able to manufacture it from α-linolenic acid (ALA), even if this synthesis is not very efficient. In synergy with DHA, it contributes to normal cardiac function.-DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid): This is the main component of fish oil and a constituent of the phospholipids in cell membranes (particularly cerebral and retinal). It helps to maintain normal cerebral and visual function. -Camelina Oil: Camelina seeds contain up to 43% oil, which is rich in antioxidants and ALA. ALA is the principal precursor of omega 3 fatty acids. It enhances lipid metabolism and in particular triglycerides.
