Eucalyptus: This is an evergreen tree with rapid growth (it can reach a height of 90 metres). Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the leaves. Steam inhalation with Eucalyptus, thanks to its balsamic properties, helps bring relief to respiratory airways.
Mint: The essential oil is extracted from the leaves and flowering tips of the plant, which are harvested at their balsamic time, that is, the time when the essential oil is at its peak concentration.
Pinus mugo (Mountain Pine): This a confer that grows primarily in the form of an evergreen bush; due to its characteristic shape it is also known as dwarf mountain pine. The oils contained in its branches have a balsamic effect.
Cajeput: This is an essential oil extracted from a tree “Melaleuca cajuputi”, also known as white wood. In Malaysia, the leaves of this tree are burnt as incense to protect the home and people from demons and snakes.
Thyme: This is an aromatic plant with green coloured leaves with a very strong aroma. It contains an essential oil and other substances that give it balsamic properties. In winter, a few drops of essential oil can be used at home to purify the air.
Sweet Almond Oil: This is cold-extracted from almonds. It is an oil with a delicate scent and flavour, which makes it ideal for acting as a carrier for essential oils without masking their aroma.
